Dear ETHLC members,

I am so proud to be a member of the East Texas Hispanic Leadership Council! It is truly an honor for me. Every single member of this organization is growing into a strong leader of this community. I truly admire each of you for taking ownership of an idea or a project that will benefit not only the success of our organization but also the community of Tyler and its surrounding areas. I have been watching you and am seeing how each of you is working diligently, either alone or through team effort, to accomplish our goals. You are amazing and I want you to know I appreciate you. Tom agrees with me that you are just taking off with the tasks at hand and running with it. Keep that ball rolling! You are already growing others and cultivating them to be leaders as well. I have especially seen this in Yolanda. You go, girl! I don't mean to single you out but this is worth mentioning.

At a luncheon yesterday, I was a guest and was introduced as Irma Henson with the East Texas Hispanic Leadership Council. I rose from my seat with great honor and pride. You are the reason why. The community has learned of who we are and what we've done and it's all because of each one of us.
